King Kong

Wir waren in King Kong. Ich fand ihn gut, auch wenn er knapp drei Stunden lang war. Es kam keine Langeweile auf, obwohl die Geschichte ja nichts neues ist. Ich fand die Bewohner von Skull Island aehnelten den Orks in LotR schon etwas, was aber lustig war. Der Film ist vollgepumpt mit Special FX und strotzt nur so vor Monstern. Alles, was auf der Insel rumkreucht und fleucht ist fuer Menschen ein paar Nummern zu gross und die Leute haben es ganz schoen schwer, zu ueberleben. Die Sache mit den Dinosauriern hat mich gerockt. Das war ne ziemlich geile Idee von Peter Jackson und ich glaube, er hatte ziemlich viel Spass mit dem Film. =)
Der Film macht Spass und laesst keine Langeweile aufkommen. Fuer mich ist es nur so, dass ich mir die DVD z.B. nicht kaufen wuerde, da mir da das gewisse Etwas fehlt. Ich kann auch nicht genau sagen, was es ist. Im Kino jedenfalls ein Spassfilm.


King Kong

We´ve watched King Kong. I liked it although it was almost 3 hours long. It was not boring although the story is nothing new. I thought the habitants of Skull Island looked a little like the Orcs in Lord of the Rings, but that was funny. The film is full of special FX and is teemed with monsters. All that´s living on the island is a few numbers too big for human beings and it´s very difficult for them to survive. The thing with the dinosaurs rocked me. Peter Jackson´s idea was very nice and I think he had a lot of fun doing this film. =)
The film is fun and not boring, but for me something is missing. I wouldn´t buy the DVD. I can´t really tell what it is, because the film is fun in cinema.

Hemos visto King Kong. A mi me gustó, aunque se tardó casi 3 horas. La películ no fue aburrida, aunque la historia no fue algo nuevo. Pensé que los habitantes de la Isla de Cavalera parecían a los Orks del Señor de los Anillos, pero eso estuvo divertido. La película está llena de efectos especiales y rebosa de monstruos. Todo lo que viva en la isla es demasiado grande para hombres y es muy difícil sobrevivir. La cosa con los dinosaurios la muvió. Esa idéa de Peter Jackson era muy bien y creo que se ha divertido mucho haciendo la película. =)
La película es divertida y no aburrida. A mi me parece que no voy a comprar la DVD porque falta algo en la película. No puedo decir que es y eso que en la cine la película es muy divertida.

Kaufrausch

Ich habe gerade mal Preise von verschiedenen Sachen wie Hardware, DVDs und Spielen verglichen. Ich habe angenommen, dass gerade die USA viel guenstiger ist im Vergleich zu Deutschland. Bei manchen DVDs aber komm ich in Deutschland viel besser weg (zahle weniger als die Haelfte) als in den USA und auch Mexiko. Mexiko liegt sogar noch zwischen den USA und Deutschland. Ich habe nur die Matrix-Box und LotR verglichen. Da sind wir deutlich guenstiger. Vergleichen lohnt also immer, auch mit anderen Laendern. =)


Buying frenzy

I just compared prices of different things like hardware, DVD´s and games. I thought that, in comparision with Germany, the US is much cheaper. For some DVD´s I pay less than the half than in the US and even Mexico. Mexico even is somewhere between the US and Germany. I just compared the Matrix box and LotR. Comparing these two things, we are a lot cheaper in Germany.
So, it´s always worth comparing, even with different countries. =)


Vértigo de compras

He comparado los precios de cosas diferentes como hardware, DVD y video juegos. Suponía que la EEUU está más barato que Alemania, pero para algunos DVD pago mucho menos que en la EEUU (pago menos que la mitad del precio) y tambien en Mexico. Aún Mexico está entre la EEUU y Alemania. Solamente he comparado la caja de la Matrix y del Señor de los anillos. Con esas dos películas estamos más baratos que la EEUU y Mexico.
Entonces, comparar precios siempre vale la pena, aún con paises diferentes =)

Weihnachtszeit?!

Also ich muss sagen, seit wir hier angekommen sind, ging es die ganze Zeit nur bergab. Angefangen hat alles am Flughafen hier in Monterrey. Meine Frau hatte einen anderen Flug als ich und sollte eigentlich dreieinhalb Stunde nach mir ankommen. Tatsaechlich ist sie eine knappe dreiviertel Stunde nach mir angekommen zur Verwunderung aller. Das war ne schoene Sache, da ich mich eigentlich auf dreineinhalb Stunden warten eingestellt hatte.
Jetzt ist es nur so, dass danach eigentlich alles bergab ging. Das Wetter war am ersten Abend noch gut, seit dem zweiten Tag ist es kuehl und geregnet hat es auch fast einen ganzen Tag. Dazu kommt noch, dass meine Frau fast drei Tage lang Unterleibsschmerzen hatte, die jetzt gottseidank weg sind.
Wir waren auf der Hochzeit der Cousine meiner Frau und das war ne schoene Sache. Es war nur der standesamtliche Teil, der kirchliche Teil kommt noch (mit ca. 400 geladenen Gaesten hehehe). Das war das Highlight der letzten Tage, leider etwas getruebt, weil meine Liebste Schmerzen hatte.
Ich muss nur sagen, dass ich mich eigentlich nicht fuehle als waere ich in der Weihnachtszeit. Bis jetzt war der "Urlaub" noch nicht so erholsam, wie ich es mir dachte. Dazu kommt noch, dass ich im Urlaub pauken muss, da ich im Februar eine Klausur habe. Das ist aber im Prinzip nicht schlimm, da ich schon seit November am pauken bin und ich jetzt mehr Zeit habe als zu Hause.
Heute abend sind wir zu einer Freundin der Familie zum Essen eingeladen und das wird ein schoener Abend. Die Tochter der Familie ist auch mit einem Deutschen verheiratet und somit sind sie auch "vorbelastet" =D
Ab heute kann es nur besser werden. Die drei miesen Tage sind ueberstanden, das Wetter ist auch nicht mehr so kuehl (ich bin eigentlich so um die 25º hier gewohnt im Dezember, es sind aber nur so um die 10º im Moment), aber die Stimmung lassen wir uns eh nicht vermiesen. =)


X-mas season?!

Well, I gotta say that since we arrived here, times got worse and worse. It all started at Monterrey airport. My wife had a different flight than I had and was supposed to arrive 3.5 hours after me. Quite astonishing, she arrived around 45 minutes after me. It was very nice because I actually had adjusted to 3.5 hours of waiting. Well, from then on everything went from bad to worse. The weather was fine on the first evening, but since the second day it has been cool and it has already rained for a whole day. In addition to that, my wife had been having a mean pain in her belly for around three days. Good heavens they´re gone now.
We were at the wedding of my wife´s cousin and that was very nice. It was the administration part only, the church part is still to come (with around 400 invited guests hehehe). That was the highlight of the last days. However, the mood was a little bad because my darling was in pain.
I have to say that I don´t really feel like in x-mas mood. Up to now, the "vacation" has not been as recovering as I had thought. In addition, I gotta swot as I have an exam in February. Actually, that´s not bad because I have been studying since November and here I have more time than at home.
Tonight, we are invited for dinner to a befriended family´s home. It will be a nice evening. The family´s daughter is married with a German as well, so they are "biased", too =D
From today on, it can only get better. Three mean days are over and the weather is not so cool anymore either (I´m used to around 25º here in December, but atm it´s only 10º). But, we don´t let the weather spoil our mood anyway. =)


¡¿Dias navideños?!

Pues, tengo que decir que desde llegamos aquí todo volvía a ser peor y peor. Todo empezó al aeropuerto de Monterrey. Mi cielo tuvo un vuelo diferente que yo y debó llegar 3.5 horas más tarde después de mi. De hecho, llegó unos 45 minutos después de mi y todos se quedaban asombrados. Fue una cosa bonita porque pensaba que tuve que esperar 3.5 horas entonces. Y ahora todo va peor y peor. El tiempo estuvo bien en el primer día. Desde el segundo día, hacia frío y ya ha llovido por casi un dia completo. Además, mi cielo tenía dolores muy malas en su panza por casi 3 dias. Ya se fue, gracias por Dios.
Fuimos a la boda de una prima de mi cielo y fue una cosa muy bonita. Solamente fue la parte de la administración. La parte de la iglésia todavía será (con unos 400 invitados hehehe). Eso fue la mejor parte de los últimos dias. Por desgracia estuvo un poco triste porque mi cielo tenía dolores en su panza.
Tengo que decir que no me siento como estuviera en el tiempo navideño. Hasta ahoro los "vacaciones" no me daron mucho descanse que esperaba. Y tengo que estudiar porque tengo un examen en Febrero. Este no es malo porque de hecho tengo más tiempo aquí que en casa y estoy estudiando desde Noviembre.
Esta noche estamos invitados a cenar a una familia que tiene una hija que tambien está casado con un alemán. Entonces tambien están "parcial". Será una noche bonita. =D
Desde hoy todo será mejor. El tiempo cambió, ya no hace tanto frío (aquí estoy acostumbrado a unos 25º grados en Diciembre y en los últimos dias hacia 10º grados solamente). Pero nada y nadie nos pueda poner de mal humor. =)

Verschiedenes

Hier gab es in der letzten Zeit nicht viel. Das liegt daran, dass ich todesviel™ zu tun hab und deshalb nur wenig zeit, das ganze aktuell zu halten.
Das wiederum wird sich aber jetzt aendern und ich wahnsinniger werde den Blog sogar in deutsch, englisch und spanisch aktuell halten.
Jetzt koennte man fragen: "WTF?! Warum das denn?"
Einer der Gruende ist, dass meine Frau Mexikanerin ist und, dass ich ihr das Lesen erleichtern will, da sie schon gesagt hat, sie moechte wissen, was ich schreibe. Ihr deutsch ist schon grossartig, aber dennoch werd ich auch auf spanisch schreiben.

Ich bin momentan in Mexiko bei der Familie meiner Frau und hier ist gerade niemand. Die ganze Familie ist grad weg, Sachen machen.
Das gibt mir Gelegenheit, etwas zu tippen. Das Wetter ist ganz gut (viel besser als in Deutschland), wir haben im Schnitt 20-25 Grad. Bin mit meiner Frau vorgestern angekommen und wir werden hier vier Wochen verbringen. Eine wunderbare Sache =D
In naexter Zeit wirds hier auf jeden Fall wieder mehr geben.


Miscellanous

There has not been much lately in this blog. This is due to the fact that I am buried with work and therefore little time only to keep it up-to-date.
But, this will change from now on and crazy as I am, I will keep this thing up-to-date in German, English and Spanish.
Now you could ask: ¨WTF? Why that?¨
Well, one reason is that my wife is Mexican and I wanna make it easier for her to read what I write, as she already told me she wants to know what I´ll write. However, her German is already great, I will write in spanish anyway.

At the moment I am in Mexico with my wife´s family and nobody is here. The whole family is away doing things. This is the opportunity for me to type something. The weather is nice at the moment. It´s between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
We arrived the day before yesterday and we will stay for four weeks. A wonderful thing =D
In the future, there will be more at this place.


Varias cosas

En los ultimos meses, aquí no había mucho a leer. Eso es porque litereramente estoy enterrado con trabajo y por eso no tengo tiempo para actualizar el bloque.
Además, eso va a cambiar y loco como estoy, voy a actualizar el bloque en alemán, inglés y español.
Ahora alguien podría preguntar: <<¡Chingado! ¿Porque?>>
Pues, uno de los razones es que mi esposita es mexicana y quiero hacerlo más facil para ella leer este bloque. Me dijo que quiere leer lo que escriba. Su alemán ya está muy bien, sin embargo, quiero escribir en español.
En este momento estamos en Mexico (lindo y querido =D) con la familia de mi esposita y nadie está. Toda la raza se fue, haciendo cosas. Es mi oportunidad para escribir algo. El tiempo está bien. Hace entre 20 y 25 grados. Llegamos ayer y quedaremos cuatro semanas aquí. Una cosa maravillosa =D
En un futuro, seguramente voy a escribir más en este bloque.
